Fabien Casteran

Fabien is one of Security Innovation’s most tenured and experienced
Engineers. He brings a wealth of application testing and knowledge
to the company, where he serves in a lead capacity on application
security research, development and assessment initiatives. Fabien is
proficient in a wide range of programming languages, platform
technologies, Web protocols and data structures. He has leveraged
his software quality and application analysis skills to develop a
plethora of application quality and security test tools. He has also
tested applications for some of the largest companies in the world
including Microsoft, ING, SAP and Motorola.
Fabien served as a lead researcher on an extensive Windows vs. Linux
Web Server role comparison security project, which was recognized
publicly for its quality and sound methodology He has contributed
written and oral commentary for numerous media outlets such as CIO
Update and Processer. Fabien has also delivered presentations at
world-class industry venues, including:

Fabien received an M.S in Computer Science from Florida Institute of
Technology and wrote a thesis entitled: “Towards a Customer-Centric
View of Security”. He is fluent in French, English, Portuguese and
Spanish.
