Microsoft
Microsoft partnered with Security Innovation to build a comprehensive training program for its software architects, developers, tester and program managers. Based on the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) and company-specific policies, Security Innovation constructed 14 custom eLearning courses that the Microsoft Engineering Excellence group has used to train thousands of employees.
Two years after the formal training was rolled out, Microsoft experienced a 91% reduction in vulnerabilities in SQL server, and 45% reduction in Microsoft Windows/Vista.
