Digital Marketing Specialist, Wilmington (or remote), US

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist will join the Security Innovation marketing team as a daily contributor to increasing the volume of leads generated by our marketing efforts. This position will report to the Digital Director and be a critical factor in growing and nurturing our sales pipeline. This position is primarily responsible for creating assets supporting marketing campaigns. Asset creation for channels includes social media, website, email & messaging. Reporting on success, identifying gaps and opportunities, and creating a multitude of assets from guidelines, specifically microcontent, are all functions of this role.

This role will participate in strategy development, campaign production, audience segmentation, and asset creation to support our digital approach. This candidate will work cross-functionally to help expand our digital footprint by producing assets that reinforce the brand and increase conversions.


  • Produce micro-content assets from established guidelines
  • Transform copy into web pages using WordPress templates
  • Generate landing pages from established templates on various platforms
  • Prepare campaign promotion packages including social content, imagery, video, and tagged links for internal teams
  • Create, schedule, and analyze regular global promotion around content such as blog articles, webinars, and white papers
  • Regularly work with content creators to identify micro-content for social strategy
  • Prepare registration process and marketing assets for digital events, such as webinars and virtual conferences
  • Optimizing blog articles and relevant call-to-actions for publishing
  • Work with corporate and product marketing to manage drip campaigns and continually analyze their effectiveness
  • Execute on campaigns generated by the corporate and product marketing teams
  • Assist with executing digital programs around our charitable programs
  • Maintain and coordinate regular communication with sales teams on current and upcoming content
  • Drive visibility and demand for Security Innovation and its solutions through constant promotion
  • Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages, email, and social assets to support campaigns
  • Collaborate with other team members to push consistency of messaging across e-mail and social platforms
  • Apply basic SEO principles to blog and online content


  • Familiarity with WordPress platform
  • Demonstrable experience working within the email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Demonstrated familiarity with WordPress environment, with extra consideration given to experience with customizing templates
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals
  • Able to produce graphics using established templates in tools such as Canva, Powerpoint, and Photoshop
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, with extra consideration given to a working knowledge of HubSpot
  • Experience with email marketing with knowledge of audience segmentation and deliverability best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a marketing focus
  • 2-5 years of experience with digital marketing
  • Proficient in writing conversational English
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple assets across multiple campaigns
  • Understanding of advanced marketing principles
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects
