Product Manager, Wilmington (or remote), US

Position Overview

Security Innovation is looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building intuitive products that customers love. We are taking our product portfolio to the next level, building a market-leading platform that will change the way software security skills are developed and we are looking for a product manager who matches our enthusiasm for revolutionizing this industry. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. You will make sure we are building the right things at the right time, and drive a customer-focused, data-driven culture that is deliberate and validates assumptions. You will contribute significantly to customer, market, and industry research, and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. This role reports to the VP of Product Management and Marketing.


  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Create buy‐in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Solicit customer feedback by leading customer focus groups, user testing sessions, and advisory boards, as needed
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver quick time‐to‐market and optimal resources
  • Drive product launches from conception to execution
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Monitor product development sprints and evaluate results
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding user roles/sales enablement/industry and vertical‐specific strategies and plans


  • 5+ years proven work experience in product management and/or product marketing
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong problem‐solving skills, tenacity, the ability to self‐manage time, and diving in with both hands to tackle challenges
  • Understand how to collect and use market data and customer data to help drive strategy and validate assumptions
  • Skilled at working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Cybersecurity and/or training industry experience a plus
