Project Manager - Contract

Role: Project Manager 

Type: Contractor 

Hours/Term: 40 hours per week through July with likely extension through end of year

Available Location: Chicago, IL

Security Innovation is looking for a Project Manager to help manage all aspects working with a technical client in the Downtown Chicago Area. The ideal candidate will have years of experience project managing professional services, exhibit exceptional organization, communication, and tracking skills to ensure each of the many projects remain on track and are completed on time and within budget to exceptional quality. 

The Project Manager will be responsible for: 

  • Managing the queue of assessments and projects
  • Preparing each project before the engagement begins
  • Establishing key communication routes between the client and engineers    
  • Producing daily, weekly, and monthly status updates in multiple formats
  • Tracking projects through the process and ensuring the proper methodology is followed
  • Setting and managing expectations with the client, engineers, and other stakeholders       

An ideal candidate will have the following experience or skills: 

  • 2-5 years of Professional Services Project Management experience
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
  • Expertise with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to track large Purchase Orders to completion
  • Experience generating real time financial reports
