Exposure to new threats should happen on our platform. Not yours.

CMD+CTRL Labs transforms new concepts into tangible skills through hands-on, realistic examples of real-world threat scenarios.

Labs reinforce computer-based training courses by guiding your team through practical, hands-on exercises. Each simulation provides learners with vivid examples of real-world threat scenarios, then helps transform those experiences into tangible skills they can apply every day.

Our training program helps secure your software – and your organization – by offering two distinct lab types that appeal to every role and experience level:

Learn Labs

Learn Labs are fun, bite-sized simulations that sharpen the software security skills of your entire team. They’ll identify common application security vulnerabilities, understand their impacts, and exploit them — all from the attacker’s point of view. Hints and guidance are based on each participant’s level of competency – and begin to build both an offensive and defensive mindset.

Skill Labs

Skill Labs are technical exercises designed to modernize your software development teams’ security skills. A perfect proving ground, they take security concepts and put them into practice.

Two distinct types of skill labs give learners the tools they need to fix and comprehend how attackers will view software security issues in safe, simulated environments.

  • Level 200 – Secure coding. Your development teams will get hands-on with language-specific vulnerable source code to find hidden software vulnerabilities and correct them.
  • Level 300 – Attacker techniques and tactics. Your team can experience thinking like an adversary by using real tools to conduct attacks mapped to the popular MITRE ATT&CK® framework.
